We at the Linen Armor Mercantile Company appreciate your business, and will do everything within reason
to insure that you are happy with your purchases. However, there are some things that are beyond our
control, and therefore you are now subjected to our Legal Disclaimer:

1. We pride ourselves in the quality of our work. If there is a problem with your merchandise due to faulty
workmanship or materials, we will replace your Fencing Garb or issue you a refund within 30 days of
shipment. Please contact us within 30 days so that we may resolve any issue.
All returned merchandise must be as new and unlaundered.

2. All orders for products from our Stock Lines (anything but our Nobleman and Custom Works Lines) must
be paid in full, in advance.

3. All orders for our Nobleman Line or our Custom Works line shall require a $200.00 deposit.
Once fabric had been selected and purchased, this deposit becomes non-refundable.

4. Acceptable forms of payment are: Personal Cheque, Official Bank Cheque, Money Order, or Cash
(payable only in person.)

5. We cannot guarantee the fit of your Linen Armor without a personal fitting.
If you live in the Atlanta, GA area, we will be happy to work with you as much as possible to guarantee
a good fit.
Otherwise: All Linen Armor Fencing Garb is guaranteed to be made to the size and color specifications
outlined upon placing the order.

5a. Note on Colors: The colors shown on this website are as accurate as we can make them. There are
differences in the way a person sees color in person, compared to the way it shows up on a video monitor.
They will NOT be exact matches.
Also bare in mind that since linen is a natural fiber; DYE LOTS VARY.

6. We cannot be held responsible for any changes in weight after the purchase and measurements have
been made.

7. Any changes to size, color, or design after the order is placed may result in additional charges.

8. Any cancellation to an order made within 10 days of placing and paying for the order shall incur a 25%
restocking fee.
No cancellations shall be accepted after 10 days. (Not applicable to Line 2 above.)

9. Because we make every garment to order, every order is placed in the queue following the previous
order.
If you need your Fencing Garb sooner than the week following the last placed order, please contact us
about *Rush* charges. Minimum Rush Charge shall be 25% of the order total.

10. All Nobleman and Custom Works orders must be paid for in full upon completion, and prior to shipment
or delivery.

11. All of our Fencing Garb is tested during the manufacturing process to meet and exceed the Society for
Creative Anachronism Punch Test standards.
We guarantee that your Fencing Garb will pass Drop Test
* when you receive it, but due to variations in
washing techniques, no guarantee shall be maintained after your armor’s first laundering.

12. S.C.A. Fencing, Historical European Martial Arts, Western Martial Arts, L.A.R.P., etc., all come with
inherent risks. Celeste Will, Linen Armor Mercantile Company, or Sirona Boann Designs will not be held
responsible for any injury incurred during participation in these activities.

13. Unless otherwise agreed upon, we reserve the right to publish images of your individual garment for
promotional and other purposes.

14. Every garment is individually made to order. Please allow for minor variances is design and execution.

*Armor testing standards:

In accordance with the rules laid out by the Society for Creative Anachronism, we use a standard, Society
approved Drop Tester
.

We have two testers that we use. They are calibrated as follows:
TESTER #1
Probe Weight: 1086grams  Drop Height: >14.1cm
TESTER #2
Probe Weight: 1
141grams  Drop Height: >13.4cm

Each cut of fabric for each individual order is tested after 3 wash/dry cycles.
Each test is conducted to 3 drops, rather than the Society standard of 1 drop.
